The martial arts camp is a weekend-long training event.
It is held annually, in late February, at Oasis Christian Camp, Mt. Evelyn. (http://oasis.asn.au/).
Training starts Saturday morning and concludes Sunday afternoon.
Social activities are arranged for adults and kids on the Saturday night.
There is ample free time for socialising/recovering/exercising/activities.
As well as martial arts training the students may enjoy the activities available at the camp site, these include: ropes course, flying fox, swimming pool, archery. All of these activities are supervised when required.
The presentation night is an end-of-year event that brings together the entire academy. It is held at the Dandenong Basketball/Volleyball Centre.
Each dojo conducts a demonstration with all class members. This showcases their abilities to the entire club and encourages personal development.
Awards for the best-performing juniors for each dojo are presented, as well as the best-performing adult members throughout the academy.
The presentation night is important as it acknowledges the hard work we all put in throughout the year to make training an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone.
